February 2002 - Bryan Mcalees aced hole 3 at Lums.  The first reported ace in DE in 2002.
3-3-02  Jason Ferrara aced hole 3 at Bellevue during the Running with the Rebels Pro/Am.  He did it with a 173g CE Teebird.  50 bucks.
9-29-02  Tony Mastrangelo aced hole 15 (A pin) at Brandywine during the "Over the Hill" Pro/AM.  He did it with a 173g blue, CE Eagle.  Woo Hoo, 50 bucks!
2-1-03  Jake Azato aced hole 4A with a DisCraft Z-Predator in the first round of the Groundhog Open at White Clay on 2-1-03.  It was sick.  I saw it from 5s tee.  Hyzered around the bush.  Hammered chains.  Hit the bottom of the basket, popped up, then  SPUN ON A NUB FOR OVER A SECOND and actually stayed in.  Damn.  Tony Mastrangelo.
1-9-03  This is Steve Johnson.  Just wanted to let you know about a killer ace I had this year at
Bellevue.  It was 1/9/03, a muddy, muddy day.  Hole #5's teepad was a swamp, but I found enough of a
spot to plant and nailed it in there.  Didn't touch a thing goin through the trees.  Old yellow CE
172g eagle was the culprit.  280' - not too shabby, eh?  Four witnesses.  There ya go.  Peace.  ~Stevo
4-16-03  Ted Sammons.  I hit my fourth ace ever today at Bellevue State Park(Doubles). It was Hole 16, behind the rock. I threw a brand new Z-Predator. There was a bit of a tailwind, so I threw a little harder. The disc kept it's line, but at the end began to fade into the tree next to the rock. As it faded, the branch it hit actually pushed it into the basket. Sandy Perdumas, (I hope I spelled that right!!) Rob Shelinsky and K-Swizz all witnessed. (Rob still swears he heard basketball chains and not disc golf chains.)   Anyway, I'm $100.00 richer for my efforts.
5-9-03  Boca Steve Martino hit his 31st ace on hole 16 at Bellevue today.
5-14-03  On wednesday night doubles, Dave Acker aced hole 16. for $100.00!!!!  It is the same hole Ted aced but a few weeks ago. But with this ace, we all heard it loud and clear in the group (even schleppy claims to have actually of heard this one!) and folks, Dave hit this hole in one with a RAM!!! people still throw them things? Good job Dave.   Schleppy
5-17-03  Breeze.  During round one Karlton Taylor and Ted Sammons BOTH aced hole 7.  Each of them took home a hundred bucks for their shot.  This was Ted's 2nd $100 ace in a month.  Wow.
7-12-03  Andrew Downey.  Got my first ace today on hole #2 at White Clay. Unfortunately, the only witness was a ground hog and I don't think he was paying attention!
7-?-03  I watched Rob Vendor get his second ace on hole 4 at Kennet last night. Turnover shot with his orange XD. Took my $5, but it was cool to watch. Still waiting on my first ace....Strojny
7-29-03  Wedge got another ACE on hole two at Brandywine (long tee to "B" placement) during the  lunch time TAG challenge.
7-30-03  I got my first ace this weekend on hole 8 at the Grange. 'bout time.....Strojny
9-10-03
nailed my first ace at bellevue tonight.i waited around for doubles that never happened, but decided to just give it a go on my own. it's a good thing cause i hit hole 10 with my kc teebird. is it normal to pee a little on your first one??hee hee  bake

10-11-03
I got my second ace ever at White Clay #16  to short.  It was a sidearm shot thrown high and soft with a Z- Extreme. It was witnessed by my wife, Christina. Yeah, I know.... probably the easiest hole on the course, but it was still pretty cool.   From Rob Collins.
1-4-04
Aced hole 15 (A pin) today with an XD that faded left nicely 3/4 of the way to the pin. Looked better than a few of my putts, and was the icing on the cake after 2 solid rounds (49 & 50).  Chaz Banning.
4-29-04
I got my second Ace ever tonight at White Clay Doubles. Wedge was my partner when I skip Aced a Predator on hole 13. The best part of my two aces, is I have always gotten paid. Even though I wouldn’t mind some free Aces once in a while.  Paul "Sweetfingers" Kelly
6-4-04
Aced hole #3 B-pin at Brandywine today during the lunch time tag round. Threw a new Champion (Climo) aviar that looked good from 150' out.   Chaz
5-23-04
Hello there. I got my tenth ace last weekend during practice before the beaver open at lums pond ( 5-23-04 ). Tony Mastrangelo threw a practice throw on hole two and I told him to be careful not to ace until the tournament started as aces were worth $100 during tournament play. Then I stepped-up to the tee and threw an old, very flippy, cerca '96 cobra into the chains. My second ace on that hole ( once before in '90 or '91 ) and my second pre-tournament ace. Tony and Brandon Bailey were both witnesses. I then took a par and a bogey on that hole during the tournament that day. YeeeeeeeeeeHaaaaaaaaaaaa!           George Ellis
7-9-04
Got my third Ace today during Brandywine TAGS. It was an understable Predator (I must have the only one) that turned slightly right and then made a B line for basket 3 in the left (B) position. I'm sure the nasty head wind had something to do with it. Sweetfingers
7-14-04
I got an ace tonight at bellevue doubles on hole 16, which was also the CTP hole!!! For those that don't know, hole 16 is the one you can't see behind the big rock, also known as the "prudential hole". I threw a 175 dx firebird, hyzer into the chains, solid too i might add!!! Paul wharton, and ted sammons were my witnesses. The funny thing is that i was just mentioning on hole 6 that i haven't had an ace in over 2 years and i was throwing thesame disc. To my delight, 10 holes later and 2years and 5 months later, i stepped up to hole 16 and put that baby in!!! WOO HOO!!!  Robert Shelinsky aka Schleppy!!! :)
7-19-04
I got my 6th ace today on hole 3 at Brandywine.
The pin is in the up position. I used a 171 ORC. It stood up out of my hand and kept a straightline toward the basket. Paul Kelly, Mike McClosky and myself all watched as the disc slammed into the chains. Joe Corradin was playing Hole 11 and happened to turn around at just the right moment to see the disc hit the chains.
And yes, this is a gentleman's game. There were 7 players at Brandyine today for tags, inlcuding myself. All the player's honored the 5-2-1 rule. So I am $30.00 richer for my efforts!!!  - Ted Sammons.

10-4-04
bake . Well I finally got a witnessed ace even though it was petite .Hole 17 at kennet with a crispy big bead aviar. Soon as I let it go I knew i was gonna slam it up in her guts. I dont think I could have done it without the browny and jake's jabs to the liverwurst.  Evan Baker.

1-1-05
We traveled up to Sedgely Woods for the New Years tourney, and arrived pretty early.  So after a drink or 4 we played a practice round. We came to hole 8 and i said "I hate this hole," took out this flippy 168 cheetah, and anhyzered it right into the chains.  First ace ever and looking for plenty more.   -Lazartic
At some time in the summer of 2000 or 2001(I think anyway) I was playing a round of casual golf with some people at Brandywine Creak State Park.  I cant remember all the people in the group but i know Jake A. was there.  We stepped up to hole 17 in the long tee position.  I pulled a Jake Azato signature series T-Bird out of my bag and proceeded to nail the chains.  The more amazing part is that we played a second round and on the next time around I used the same disc and nailed the same chains but it didnt stick twice.
:-).  Sir Skulter Raleigh

I got my first ace at Lums Pond, 4/12/05, on hole 7.  Old Faithful, my favorite Leopard, flew a
perfect line into the chains.  Meli.

Witnessed Steve Hill getting an ace on hole #10 B position at Lums with a Roc (I think) during the Sunday Tag round 5-8-05.  Tom Lumskull.
march 14/03 fred wright made his 2nd hole-in-one shot on hole 18 at lums pond. that is his second hole-in-one on the same hole.he made it with a disccraft cyclone.
2005 late April or early May I got an ace on hole 17 at Brandywine.  I was with two friends of mine and we were throwing from the short tee.  I threw a big anhyzer that flattened out right at the end and sat in the basket perfectly.  Matthew Jacoby

got my second ace playing White Clay the first week in August 2005, Hole #18. Using a 169g Beast.  Witnesses Lavar Larks & Chris Papi... That shot was for a 30-pack of Miller Light (should have got a case of New Castle Brown Ale, but can't be too picky!!!) Looking for plenty more aces in the future.  about 2 years ago, my first ace was at white clay as well, hole #6 (over the hill, can't see the pin from the tee box)... pretty sweet  -Adam Keim
11/16/05- Adam Keim- Hit my 3rd ace today. Hole #6 at Bellevue, hyzer through the bushes wiht a few ugly branches sticking out, you can see the pin now that the leaves have fallen off the bushes. I was testing out my new KC TeeBird 176g(?)... i think i'll be using it a little more often. Always customary for any witnesses (Scott Henning) to buy beer for the ace-hitter... took home a 12-pack Corona's.
12-23-05  I got my 8th ace today at Nothern Arizona University Disc golf course. Hole 15, I used a 174 DX Discraft Drone. The basket was about a 220 feet away across a valley hidden next to some trees. (Think hole 13 at Sedgley Woods).  I played with a group of college kids who were my witnesses.  Ted
12-24-05  Brian Strojny aced hole 18 at Lums on Christmas Eve with a Comet!  His 8th.
2-?-06  HEY I’m the Bear and your not. My first ace in over two years. Hole #9 at Ho’olamaluie Botanical Gardens. Only 120 ft. with island of in-bounds grass. O.B. parking lot and road around it. With a PUTTER. #27 in career. Paid five bucks!
2005 Treeze tournament Pat Liberato shot a 2nd round ace on hole #18.  Used
an old windjammer 171g.  Threw with a slight anhyzer and it stuck all the
way to the pin.  Trevor and Senator were witnesses and I walked away $100
richer.  Whooo Hoooo.

7-1-06  This past July 1st, at approximetlely 6:45 pm while playing at Scarsboro Hills Disc Golf Course in Street, Maryland I nailed my first ace of my career...Used a 174 g Polaris and heisered in a shot from 169 feet away thru numerous trees and brush.....lost sight of it for a second, then heard that lovely "ching ching" sound...witnessed by  my buddy Bruce Pabian....Jeff Aldinger, aka Dinger
Played Cape May County Park's course while up at Ocean City for vacation July 16, 2006.  No tee pads there, so through from next to hole 6 to land one in hole seven a whopping 113 ft. from the sign to the pin.  It was a clean day and I through a 171g beat up DX Cheetah, flat and to the right of the pin, glanced some branches and dunked the hole.  Strangly I couldn't hit the same shot heading back, since Cape May plays nine holes one way and then nine holes back the other.  Witness was my brother and it was my first Ace.  Stephen Tipping
8-03-06  Mike McCloskey got his first ace on hole 12 of Brandywine today.  He threw a
174 Z Predator.  Witnessing the throw were Jake Azato, Scott Henning, Brian
Strojny, and John... After the disc hit chains, all was quiet except for a
muffled sobbing coming from Brian.  When pressed as to why he was crying all
he could manage was, "I've never seen anything quite so beautiful".  -S. Henning
THIS RECEIVED JUST AFTER THE ABOVE REPORT
I can't believe that Scott reported Mike's ace on Hole 12 and
neglected to mention that earlier in the round Scott himself had aced hole 2
with his LEFT HAND!!!!  (he's righty)  Also wanted to add that the very next
day, with Scott again in my group I aced hole 3 at B-wine.  -Strojny

3/26/2007 fred geist first ace, white clay hole 16.  171g white star wraith. flcik shot around the pines, looked like it was going to over shot it and heard that beautiful ching. what a great feeling that was. witnessing the shot was Rtu from middletown.

06-10-07 Just when you thought the bald-headed monkey was through, he popped hole A @ Beretier for you. The ace pot at $480.00 and that was real proper yet two Am's bucked one and decided to drop her. Down to $160 and that was still cool, Thanks to Turnip for the 180 Grange Roc was the tool. Heather
6/9/07 - Gus Dahling - Aced hole #18 @ Lums Saturday afternoon with a flick shot using a Championship Firebird 175g.  This is my second ace which was witnessed by my Step-Dad Bob Wilson.  Not a bad way to end a round at Lums, especially when it takes your score from a +1 to -1 for the round.
I (Harvey Adams) made my first ace ever at killens pond on july 11 2007. On hole seven, with a one month old Wraith, around the middle tree skipped off the pine needles and straight in the chains. hand side of the basket and made a very sweet 'ching' sound as it
rattled the chains. High fives were had all around. This was my first
ever Ace, I've been playing about 2 years. Interesting tidbit about the
disc, I've only had it for a week as I bought it in California at El
Dorado DGC while traveling on business. I've only played 4 rounds with
the disc before hitting an Ace with it.

overshot the basket.  My other witnesses were Margillo, Paul, Gio, Anthony
Surace, Glen H, and Don P.
Mike McCloskey
I [Harvey Adams] did it again. Hole two at lums in a tournament, thats right i get paid to play golf. Even though its the most aceable hole in de, it still counts. Fifty beans for me! Brian Billips was the one who gave me props. I took the am devision by the way. 172 valkrie, OLD
John Henry had a sweet ace on hole 16 at bellevue on 10/19/2007... It was a Star Destroyer... (not sure of the weight) but it was a low hyzer that skipped off the ground...all we heard was chains... you cant see the basket from the Tee so he had to wait till we were down the fairway to see it sitting up... Congrats!

1st ace
witness Harvey Cooey

I hit my second career ace at the "flyin' by the bay" tournament at camp tockwogh March 22, 2009.  Hole #9 a threw a lazy anhyzer (right handed) with a 171 "brandywine battle jammer" sidewinder that found the perfect line past a few trees and nailed the chains on the portable basket.  There were a bunch of witnesses because the course started to bottleneck a little right there.  I won a huge ace pot of $269, and an on going bet with my friends.  It was only the second round I had ever played with that disc, its definitely staying in my bag!
-DJ Bachovin

5-21-09- I hit my very first ace on hole number 10 at Bellevue .  I threw a beat up 170g DX TeeRex, that went around the bush to the right and smashed into the chains.  Won $60 from a bet with friends, but sadly was not enough to win the tag match.  My buddy made fun of me for buying the disc and recently offered to buy it for $2.   It was witnessed by Craig Eckbold, Matt Mariner, Ross "Boss" Eckbold and Brittany O’Shaunghnessy.

-Tom Youse
07/20/09  Adam Keim- Hit my 4th ace on hole 9 at Cape Henlopen (havent played ther in 4 years...). 11-14-09
It was an ugly, drizzly day at Brandywine with low clouds and a steady wind.  On hole No. 2 …I pulled out my brand new 167g Star Orc, its first throw ever. I hung it hard to the right in the direction of the tee for No. 3, slicing through the right to left wind. It sailed out there then started to cut left. Everything in the park was quiet as the disc started falling hard down to the left, then it made the gap between the trees and smashed loudly into the chains, shattering the silence. We couldn’t believe it, but when we got down to the bottom of the hill sure enough there it was sitting in the basket. It was my 8th ace. I was playing with Bruce Osborne……………….Thanks…. Mike Queally
Today 1-13-2010 history was made at Lums Pond State Park in Delaware. The Bad Dawg finally busted his Hymen today with an Ace on 18. I used a Champion Boss, 174g. Flick shot to the left of the center tree under the pine tree off the ground and into the basket. Witnessed by Mitch.. I'm not a Disc Golf Virgin anymore!!!!

ACE! -My 5th-
Brandywine Creek State Park
Hole 7- short
Light blue 174g Z- Pred
I actually kept it lower then normal going to the right of the tree and bush. Hyzered in and maybe hit a chain or two but caught mostly basket and stayed in! Def the easiest hole on the course but ill take it!
I got my first ace today at Lums hole # 2.  I am right handed so I anhyzered a 150 gram Leopard. I was shocked to see that it hooked right in. Hopefully, that's the first of many.  Witnessed by Bruce Pabian.

Jesse Johnson
April 22, 2010

When you're hot you're hot. My boy Bruce Pabian got his first and only ace at Lums on Earth Day three years ago.  We work together and all day he kept talking about his ace.  We went to Lums on Thursday, which happened to be Earth Day, to play.  On the first hole, Bruce found a Beast, which happened to be the same disc he made his ace with three years ago.  We get to hole 7 (the same hole he aced) and I threw first.  The shot was a little high and to the right. The disc (169 champion orc) just missed a branch and hooked right into the basket. My second ace in two weeks!

Jesse Johnson

Got my 6th career ace at hole 16 at Brandywine in the LONG during lunch golf today - I threw a beat 175g Boss annie over the barn.  It hyzered out just after the tree and smashed in the chains.  Jimi Mac, Glen Heffner, Dave Ray, Dave Talmo, and Wes Rueter were the witnesses.  Henning, you're not special anymore.

Third of the past month... Hole 3 at Brandywine during lunch golf.  I threw a spike hyzer with a 175 Star Boss, and it fell into the basket with hardly any chains.  This is the third time I've gotten hole 3 in the up position and 7th overall ace.  Wes Rueter and Dave Talmo were my witnesses.
